Long-Grain Brown Rice has a mildly-nutty flavor with a trace of sweetness to it. You can use it in any recipe that calls for grains; it brings vibrance to pilaf, curry, or stir-fry. We love Veggie Fried Rice made with this product; it's excellent for vegans and works as an excellent option for a gluten-free diet.
How to Cook Long-Grain Brown Rice Fast
To cook long-grain brown rice, please soak it for two hours or overnight. You can then cook it on a stovetop using 2 cups of water per cup of rice. Bring the pot to a boil and let it simmer until all liquid is absorbed, before leaving it for ten more minutes of the heat.
It will be even easier to use a rice cooker or a similar appliance for cooking long-grain brown rice, but you'll need to use 2 ½ cups of water per 1 cup in this case.
