2.4 Payment Information

We use Stripe as our payment processor. Payment card information — including card numbers, CVV codes, and expiration dates — is collected and processed directly by Stripe and is never stored on our servers or systems. We do not have access to your full payment card data. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for information about their data handling practices.

When you purchase our products through Amazon, Walmart, or other marketplace platforms, your information is also subject to those platforms' privacy policies.

  • Order records are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years for tax and legal compliance purposes.
  • Account information is retained for the duration of your account and for a reasonable period thereafter. Inactive accounts may be removed after a period of inactivity.
  • Marketing consent records are retained for as long as you remain subscribed or as required by law.

When personal information is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymize it.

New York Residents — NY SHIELD Act

Email & SMS Marketing

Email Communications

We may send you promotional emails, newsletters, and special offers if you have subscribed to our mailing list or have made a purchase from us and have not opted out of marketing communications.

Each marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking that link or by contacting us at help@foodtolive.com. Please allow up to 10 business days for your request to take effect.

Unsubscribing from marketing emails will not affect transactional emails related to your orders, account, or customer support inquiries.

SMS Communications

If you have provided your phone number and consented to receive SMS messages from us, we may send you order updates, promotional offers, and other communications via text message.

Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply. To opt out of SMS communications at any time, reply STOP to any message we send you. To request help, reply HELP.

We comply with all applicable requirements under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). We will not send you SMS messages without your prior express consent.

We do not share your email address or phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Food To Live does not sell your personal information to third parties, as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

We may share certain information with advertising and analytics partners in ways that could constitute "sharing" under California law — for example, through the use of cookies and tracking technologies that enable targeted advertising. You have the right to opt out of this sharing.

To opt out: Contact us at privacy@foodtolive.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" and we will process your request within 15 business days.

You may also manage your cookie preferences by adjusting your browser settings to block third-party cookies, which will limit the sharing of your browsing data with advertising partners.

We will not discriminate against you in any way for exercising your right to opt out.

Data Request (DSAR)

You have the right to submit a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) to exercise your privacy rights, including the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information.

How to Submit a Request

Send your request to privacy@foodtolive.com with the subject line "Data Request." Please include the following in your email:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your Food To Live account
  • The type of request: Access / Correction / Deletion / Data Portability
  • Any additional details that will help us locate your information

Verification

To protect your privacy and security, we will verify your identity before processing your request. We may ask you to confirm your email address or provide additional information to confirm you are the account holder.

Response Time

We will respond to your request within 45 days of receipt. If we require additional time (up to 90 days total), we will notify you of the extension and the reason for the delay within the initial 45-day period.

We do not charge a fee for processing DSAR requests unless the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, in which case we may charge a reasonable fee or decline to act on the request.

User-Generated Content

You may post content such as product reviews, comments, or recipes on our Site. By submitting such content, you grant Lexunder, Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content in connection with our business and marketing activities.

Do not include personal information about yourself or others in reviews or comments that you would not want to be publicly visible. We reserve the right to remove any content that we consider inappropriate, inaccurate, or in violation of our Content Policy.

Children's Privacy

Our Site is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
