How to Use Organic Whole Wheat Flour for Bread Baking
In essence, you can add some organic white whole wheat flour to any bread recipe. Replace a portion of the all-purpose flour in the recipe with this product.
If you are looking for a simple whole wheat bread recipe, try the following:
In a bowl, mix 4 cups of this organic wheat bread flour, a packet of instant yeast (about a tablespoon), and a bit of salt. In another bowl, combine two teaspoons of maple syrup with 2 cups of warm water. Then, combine wet and dry ingredients carefully.
Mix, but do not knead the dough!
Transfer the dough into a greased loaf pan. You can put some waxed paper at the bottom as well.
Cover the pan and let it sit for 20 minutes. Transfer it to the oven and bake for 20 minutes at 390F. Note, the oven must be pre-heated.
